Camp Hi Canoe Livery in Hiram Ohio

Camp Hi Canoe Livery offers quality canoe and kayak trips on the scenic Upper Cuyahoga River. This river was designated an American Heritage River in 1999. The 25 miles of river used by Camp Hi Canoe Livery are also designated as State Scenic River. The water is excellent quality for swimming or fishing. The Cuyahoga River, from Burton to SR 303 is a woodland stream with gentle current and a meandering course. Its average depth is 4 to 5 feet with an average current of 2 miles/hour.

Trips range from 1 to 6 hours in length and are suitable for beginning to experienced paddlers. We open in April and rent into October. During April, May, September, and October call ahead for weekday trips; no appointment is needed on weekends. We are open 7 days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day, no appointments needed. Rentals are available 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Boats must be returned by 6:00 PM.
